Benitez tries too hard to reverse the dreadful form. He starts both Gerrard and Torres, only for both to further aggravate their injuries.
At the other camp, a former Anfield favorite embraces the hostile reception with the perfect response. Making his mark with a clinical finish so familiar and missed these days.
